Veneers are very thin tooth facings that are often made from porcelain or composite materials. They are bonded to the teeth your teeth in the proper color, shape, and size, or length. Veneers provide protection from damage to the tooth, or can provide a cosmetic enhancement to your smile in a conservative manner.

Commonly Asked Questions Regarding Veneers
Usually your teeth are shaped in a conservative manner, and a mold is taken of the teeth. The mold is then sent to the laboratory that will make the custom veneers for you. In the second visit, the dentist will bond the veneers to your natural teeth. There are temporary veneers that placed onto the teeth until the final ones are placed.
It is not typical for veneers to fall off. If they do, it indicates a serious problem.
A veneer cannot be repaired, it can only be replaced.
There is no definite answer to this question. It depends upon how well one’s home care is, and what types of foods and beverages are ingested.
